MNRI® Introduction

Masgutova Neuro-Sensory-Motor Reflex Integration

Through a series of simple, reproducible techniques that parents (and professionals) can successfully implement, the Masgutova Method (MNRI®) activates neurological pathways to create shifts in unintegrated primary reflex patterns that should have been fully developed during the first three years of life. As a result, children and adults experience shifts that continually lead to improved states of functioning in cognition and physical ability.

MNRI® is based on the understanding that the innate primary movements and reflex patterns that are genetically part of everybody’s makeup are key elements to human development. These movements and reflex patterns are the fundamental neurological building blocks for all learned movements and skills – from first lifting your head, to crawling, to walking to talking. If the brain is “stuck” at the brainstem level, the brain is consistently in survival mode; it only wants to protect itself. Therefore, higher levels of learning within the body cannot occur. By reviewing the body’s fundamental movements and patterns – that should have been activated in the first few months of life – positive shifts in functioning are awakened.
