David A. Edwards, MD, HMD
Trained in research, Dr Edwards has been in private practice in Reno, Nevada since 1975. He served as Chairman of Cardiology, (76 –’78), and Chairman of the Department of Medicine, (’79 –’80) at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center; and from 1978 to 1991 as Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno.
Dr. Edwards graduated from the British Institute of Homeopathy, and UCLA’s Medical Acupuncture Training for Physicians. He received his license as a Homeopathic Medical Doctor from the State of Nevada in 1987
In the early 1980’s, Dr. Edwards became interested in non-toxic traditional and biological methods of healing. When the Nevada Nuclear Cardiology Center was created to study the effects of chelation therapy, he served as its Director. This method involved advanced non-invasive technology, and resulted in his becoming board certified in chelation therapy as well as a Diplomat of the American College for Advancement in Medicine, (ACAM).
Michael Gerber, M.D., H.M.D
Dr. Gerber graduated from the Kansas University School Of Medicine in 1972. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship at Oakland, California County Hospital. Additional professional experiences include surgical training in Zaire, Africa and a psychiatric internship at the Crisis Intervention Ward at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. He conducted psycho-pharmacology research at the Stanford Research Ward of the Palo Alto and Menlo Park Veterans Administration Hospitals.
Dr. Gerber was always drawn to natural approaches in medicine, and early in his practice he studied with many well-known medical pioneers such as Dr. John Christopher, Dr. Paavo Airola, and two-time Nobel Prize Laureate Dr. Linus Pauling. He is a diplomate of the International College of Anti-Aging Medicine and is a graduate of the UCLA Medical Acupuncture Training Program. Dr. Gerber is the president of the Nevada Homeopathic and Integrative Medical Association and past president of the Orthomolecular Medical Society. He is a medical advisor and featured columnist for publications, including Alternative Medicine Magazine and the Townsend Letter.
Frank Shallenberger, MD, HMD
Dr. Shallenberger is a five time grandfather and four time father. He has been practicing alternative/integrative medicine since 1978. He is the President of the American Academy of Ozonetherapy, and is Vice President of the Society of Orthomolecular Health Medicine. Dr. Shallenberger has revolutionized the practice of anti-aging and preventive medicine by developing a method to measure mitochondrial function and oxygen utilization.
He has written two popular books describing this method, The Type 2 Diabetes Breakthrough and Bursting With Energy, and has authored numerous papers in the international peer reviewed literature on ozone therapy and oxygen utilization. He is also the Editor of Real Cures alternative medicine newsletter. Dr. Shallenberger has just been elected to serve as a charter member of the International Scientific Committee on ozone Therapy. George H Green, PhD
Dr. George H. Green is one of the most experienced clinical biofeedback professionals in the United States. He is a Senior Fellow of the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance in biofeedback and neurofeedback. Practicing in Nevada since 1976, he has a background in psychophysiology, neurofeedback, brain-computer interface, hypnotherapy, and alternative approaches to health and personal performance.
John C LeMay MA MFT
John C. LeMay is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a passion for neurobehavioral difficulties such as Autism, OCD and ADHD. He is a board certified biofeedback therapist, with plenty of experience in the fields of both Family Therapy and Applied Psychophysiology.
Specializing in the use of biofeedback, in particular EEG biofeedback, John uses information obtained by EEG to assist clients in learning how to alter their own mental states. This is empowering because treatment is in the hands of the client and the process is active.
Robert Ayres has been a teacher of meditation for over 40 years and has taught this technique to thousands of people in Europe, the US and Asia. Robert Ayres brings to over 45 years of teaching; years of intensive study and research into the evolution of human consciousness and 20 years of experience in investment banking. Mr. Ayres draws on a diverse background. He holds a Bachelors Degree in History and a Masters in the Science of Creative Intelligence with post-graduate work in South Asian Studies and Sanskrit.
In Mr. Ayres formative years he was influenced by Rosicrucian teachings, the schools of Kabbalah and Tarot, the Theosophical Society and the writings of H.P. Blavatsky. Manley P Hall of the Philosophical Research Society was also a fundamental influence as well as Rudolph Steiner and the Anthroposophical Society.

Dr. Richard Meier, FCOVD
Dr. Meier is a native Nevadan who graduated from UNR with Honors, B.S. Biology; Pacific University, B.S. Psychology and Doctor of Optometry with Distinction. He established his practice in Reno in 1979. He is a Fellow in the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, (FCOVD), former Western Regional Director and board member of the national organization. Dr. Meier is a member of the Executives’ Association of Reno, The American and Nevada Optometric Associations, and has been Young Optometrist of the Year for the Nevada Optometric Association.
He was named Healthcare Hero by the Nevada Business Journal August 2007. Dr. Meier offers continuing education courses for school districts in Nevada and California. He is a provider for Nevada Bureau of Services to the Blind and Department of Vocational Rehabilitation. He is active in biking, skiing, and running; having run in more than 44 marathons including 5 Boston Marathons.
